In the following three section I will show from scripture that God the Father, God the Son and God the

God the Father:

Who Is God

God is the eternal creator of all there is. God is known in the Hebrew texts as Elohim. Elohim is a single-plural term meaning one and more than one. Another term, which represents God, is Jehovah. Jehovah is usually shown in the Bible as 'LORD' in capital letters. There are many other names which are used to describe God but these two, (God and Lord) are used most often.

The Bible is filled with scripture that show God IS the one and only almighty creator God of everything that exists. Many of our observations about creation are examples of his absolute power and ability.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

In other words the things that are made (Us and everything else which God made.) should understand and see the invisible things of God (Including his eternal power and Godhead) by recognizing his ability to create the world and everything in it. Only God could create such magnificent wonders and these wonders could only exist through God.

If anyone does not believe the truth of God's existence then the Bible says that they are considered to be without understanding.

Psalms 14:1-2 <<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

These scriptures tell us that we should be seeking God instead of denying His existence. If we say there is no God than we are foolish. Misguided perhaps but foolish none the less. God is all around us. He is evident in all his works. We need only open our eyes to know He exists.

God in Creation

God is the Father and creator of all there is. He is the most Holy of Holy. It is for Him to know the decisions of what was, is and is to be. He is the divine voice by which all is created and judged, and shall be forevermore.

Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

In Psalms it shows that God is everlasting (eternal), and that it was this eternal being who formed the earth. He is the eternal creator, He is God. If we truly think about creation, we will eventually have to admit that something cannot have been created by nothing. This is the truth in it's simplest form and only God could have created all that is.

Scientists talk about the 'big bang theory' but we must ask ourselves, even if this was the case, where would the substance to create a big bang have come from. How could any substance create, not only itself, but also all the diverse and complex wonders that exist. Wonders which are beyond understanding even today? How is it possible to create emotion and thought from an explosion which is without life. I believe that no explosion could produce the requirements needed for consciousness and self-awareness to take place. The choice is simple, either everything we are, just materialized from nothing by accident, or we were created on purpose by a conscious loving God who understands and loves us.

I've noticed that many people find it easier to believe the universe was created by accident than created on purpose. Perhaps they think that, if this is the case, no one is higher than them and they can make 'gods' of themselves. By doing this they do not have to take responsibility for their own actions or worry about the consequences of those actions. How their actions might affect other people becomes unimportant and only their own satisfaction and principles become relevant. After all, if everything is an accident, then there is no one to answer to. I, on the other hand, will place my faith in a loving and caring God before I place my faith in the emptiness of creation from nothing.

Dr. Carl Buagh once said, ' The chance of intelligent life forming on a planet is about the same as taking a watch with all the pieces separate and placing them in your pocket. Then by shaking your pocket, have all the pieces go back into the original working watch again.'  This being the case, we can hardly even begin to understand what  the chances of an entire universe being created in perfect balance would be. Also in the Dr's example he at least had something to shake. And so we must ask ourselves honestly what is more likely to be true, was creation the inspired will of God or was it an accident of nothing from nothing?

In the Bible, we have been told many times how everything was created and who it was that created everything. Why it is so hard for some people to believe is a mystery.

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

There is no man of science or knowledge can disprove the existence of God. Though many have tried, all have failed and the word of God has this to say about the wisdom of man.

1 Corinthians 1:20  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

In his holy word we see God and some of the wonderful works he has performed. When I stop to think about where we would be if he had not done this, I am in total awe of His love for us. I find it comforting to know that even then God had a plan for us. One in which we might share all eternity with him if we are willing. Of all his creations, he prepared us last and in his image. Although we have failed him often, we are the final fruits of his creative labor and he loves us and wants us to be with him. All we have to do is come to him through Jesus Christ our savior.

God In The Creation of Man

Some people will say that it's possible the Big Bang is not real and we were not just an accident but they still believe in evolution and not creation. Big Bang or not doesn't change your viewpoint on the 'origins of man'. They also believe that  through study we will gain the evidence of evolution needed to prove this theory. They also say that this is correct because it is the commonly held belief of the scientific community. Well I have news for these people, the scientific community also once believed that the world was flat. Just because a theory is popular, does not make it right. What's interesting about the theory of a flat world as held by the scientific community of old, is that the Bible said otherwise, hundreds of years before the coming of Christ.

Isaiah 40:22  It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: {It is...: or, Him that} <words made bold by me>

Notice how this verse says, the 'circle of the earth'. Now, if the Bible can be right about this and man wrong, what about evolution? Is evolution a fact or a theory? The Bible says man was created by God. Dissertation by Dr. Carl Baugh offer some rather interesting viewpoints about evolution and the errors in it’s theories. You can find it on the internet <here>. More info can be found <here>.

The reason for all this is simply to say that there are no facts or concrete evidence supporting evolution. It is just a theory. It contains many flaws and as we see, these flaws are growing as our knowledge grows. The Bible however contains no flaws and even after centuries of attack by people who would discredit the holy book, not a single verse can be disproved. So in the course of events, through history, we once again see that the knowledge of man is flawed and the word of God stands true. This being the case I present the Bible as a factual history text and wait for mankind to struggle over the crest of knowledge to prove it right.

Ecclesiastes 8:17  Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

So saying, let's see what the Bible says on the creation of man.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:22-24 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

With all that God has done for us, creating the universe, forming the life of all the animals on earth , giving man dominion over them and creating us in his own image, I have to ask a question. Why, after doing all of this for us, do we shun him time and again? He sent his only begotten Son for us to die so that we might be saved and STILL we shun him. Yet God knew this would happen. It did not come as a surprise. So why did he do all this? Until we meet him in glory we may never know. What we do know however is what the Bible tells us. All the answers that God wishes us to know has been given to us in his holy word, the Bible and one of the most important things God tells us is that He loves and cares for us, and that He has a purpose for us.

God Cares And Has A Purpose For Us

If you look at the beautiful wonders of the universe and the order of it, you must wonder what kind of God could create such a magnificent place. Is it a God who is destructive and wasteful? Is it a God who does not care about his creations? If so, then why pay attention to such detail? I feel that the only right answer is that the Lord does care. We were the last of his creations and made in his image. Of all his creations we are the most important and he cares for us most of all.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

Matthew 10:30  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Matthew 10:31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

In these scriptures are the truth of Gods eternal love for us. His love is not only talked about though it is also shown. God is shown in creation but his love is shown through the sacrifice of his Son for our sins.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 16:27  For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.(Jesus Speaking)

Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 4:8  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Now that we have seen his love for us, let’s take a look at what his plan for us is. God is the creator but he creates for a purpose. Our purpose is made clear in the scriptures of the Bible.

John 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Isaiah 45:22  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Psalms 23:6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Mark 10:29  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

Mark 10:30  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

In this last verse, Jesus’ intention was not that we should leave our loved ones to serve God. What is meant is that everything else in our life should come second to serving God. We should serve God and give him praise because he is the powerful, almighty, holy God of all. Here are a couple of verses that show him to be mighty and powerful, eternal and wonderful.

Deuteronomy 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Isaiah 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

How is God Shown as Holy

I praise the Lord, not only for our existence, but also for his love of us as well. He is wonderful and worthy of praise. He is God, most holy.

1 Samuel 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Psalms 71:22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

This is simply a few of many many verses, which show the Lord God as being Holy and above all others.
