God the Son (Jesus):

Who Is Jesus

Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth in human form as the son of man in order that he might be sacrificed for our sins. The love of God for us was so great that he sent his son here knowing this would happen. Jesus is also known as the Word, King of Kings and the Lamb.

John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

How is Jesus Shown as Holy

Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Jesus is a Lamb and a King, with glory and honour and power. He sits at the right hand of the father and is eternal.

Jesus Cares And Has Purpose For Us

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Here we have the promise of eternal life just for believing in Jesus! I think there is more to eternal life than this but through faith comes our sincerity. If we are sincere in our faith we will want to do more. I believe this is what God looks for when we give our heart to him. We ask the Lord, through Jesus, to forgive us and if we believe (have faith) he does. It is something so simple and yet, very few seem to be able to do this.

I have a logical question to those who don't believe in God.

If you believe in God and die and there is nothing, then what have you lost by doing so?

The answer is nothing.

BUT if you do not believe in God and you die and you are wrong, what then have you lost by not believing?

The answer is, everything good he has promised and you have gained eternal suffering beyond imagining. This usually tends to scare people away from God and the bible but I say that it should do the opposite. Ignorance will not save you. And if this scares you than the only way for it not to happen to you is by giving your heart to the Lord through Jesus. It is so simple. Just believe and be sincere.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It is through Jesus that we are saved today. For our prayers must go through him and only him before they reach God. Knowing God cannot tolerate sin, we must understand from this that Jesus is faultless and wonderful. More than that however, he is our means of coming before God with our prayers. For unlike Jesus we are flawed and full of sin. It is only by the sacrificial blood of Jesus that we might come before God and gain forgiveness.
